Solid Waste/Garbage Collection

Effective October 1, 2009, Madison County will service its own garbage collection.  All pick-up days and routes will remain the same.

Garbage will need to be out by 7:00 a.m. on your pick up day.  It should be bagged.  Wet paint, batteries, items containing hazardous materials will not be picked up.

Garbage service will run as normally scheduled for the Christmas and New Year Holiday. 

There will be no make up day.  For those that have problems with animals getting in the trash, add some bleach, ammonia or Pine Sol to your trash bag before tying it.
